Economist
Economist and a lawyer specialized in antitrust. Currently, he works as an economic analyst at FK Economics.
At FK Economics, he has primarily focused on economic analysis in areas such as public policies, antitrust and damage estimation using statics and econometrics.
His work includes economic evaluation and quantification of damages in litigation and arbitration for private companies, investors, and regulatory authorities across diverse subjects and industries.
Previously worked at the Chilean Competition Court (TDLC) as Judicial Clerk and later as analyst in the court’s research unit. Before that, he served as a lawyer and economist at the law firm Menchaca & Cía.
Studied at Pontificia Universidad Católica. At this university, he obtained a master’s degree in economics, with a specialization in Industrial Organization, a B.A. in Business and Economics, a degree in law, and a B.A. in Social Sciences (College UC). He received honors and ranked among the top of his graduating class in all these programs.
Subsequently, he furthered his studies at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez with a diploma in Antitrust and at Universidad de Chile with specialized courses in “Procedural tools for litigation in competition law” and “Antitrust Litigation”.
Lastly, in academic fields, he served as a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in the course “Introduction to Economics” and in the Escuela Militar in the course “Economics and Administration”.
