Economist | Director of Antitrust
Economist and lawyer specializing in competition law. He currently works as an economic analyst at FK Economics.
At FK Economics, he has primarily focused on economic analysis in areas such as public policy, competition law, and damage estimation using statistics and econometrics.
Previously, he worked at the Chilean Competition Tribunal (Tribunal de Defensa de la Libre Competencia), first as a legal counsel for suppliers and later as an analyst in the tribunal’s research unit. Before that, he served as a lawyer and economist at the law firm Menchaca & Cía.
He studied at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he earned a Master’s degree in Economics (with a specialization in Industrial Organization), a degree in Business and Economics (with a specialization in Economics), a Law degree, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (College UC). He graduated with distinction and ranked among the top of his class. Later, he furthered his studies with a diploma in Competition Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
Finally, in the academic field, he has taught Introduction to Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Economics and Administration at the Military Academy.
